The BCISD Parent Resource Center (PRC) exists to provide resources to help parents become more informed and engaged in the education of their children. This is accomplished by connecting parents with resources, by educating parents about whole-child development, and by equipping parents to engage with the school and foster student academic growth.
Visiting the PRC:
The PRC includes many resources that can be checked out to families. Due to COVID-19, appointments are required to ensure health and safety. Email Darlene Denton at firstname.lastname@example.org
to schedule a time to visit the Parent Resource Center.
Appointments can be made during the following hours:
1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Mondays
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Thursdays
Engaging with PRC programs:
Follow the BCISD Parent Resource Center on Facebook to view parenting tips, family organization tips, and stay current with PRC service projects and outreach efforts.
Beginning in fall 2020, Google Classroom will be the primary platform for student engagement in programs the PRC facilitates. Your student can go to www.classroom.google.com
and join a Classroom with the following course codes:
For Bulldog BROS: c7zzcz6
For DIVA Dawgs: jbhfplj
Additional options for parents, including a Family Book Club, are under development and will be released soon!
