Student Teachers/Observations
College students or participants in alternative certification programs requiring observation hours or a student teaching experience must complete the following steps in order for the request to be considered.
1. Complete and submit the Student Teaching / Observation Hours Placement application found at BCISD Employment.
- The deadline for requesting FALL student teaching is the first week of August.
- The deadline for requesting SPRING student teaching is the first week of November.
2. Once approved, candidates will receive an email notification from Human Resources regarding the placement.
3. Candidates are then permitted to contact the assigned campus.
