Attendance Guidelines for Illness

Burnet CISD Health Services asks that you keep your student home if he or she:

 

~Has a fever of 100.0 or greater, vomiting, diarrhea within the past 24 hours.

 

~Has been dismissed from school due to illness, fever, vomiting or diarrhea. He or she may not return to school the next day.

 

~Is being treated for a contagious illness. He or she must remain home until on antibiotics for a FULL 24 hours.
