Commonly Used Disinfectants

Burnet CISD uses two disinfectants in classroom settings:

 

Spartan Halt is a hospital grade, one-step cleaner, bacteriacidal, virucidal, mildewcidal, fungicidal, disinfectant. It is used in classrooms, restrooms and common areas. It is typically applied utilizing an electrostatic wand. In this application, the particles are charged so they don’t stay in the air, and instead attract to negatively charged surfaces instantly. 

 

MeishiYu Alcohol Wipes are 75% alcohol wipes used to wipe off classroom desks and surfaces during the school day.
