Burnet CISD is fortunate to have staff members that regularly go the extra mile and demonstrate excellence in what they do. Each campus and department selects and recognizes one staff member on a bi-monthly basis for being a real "gem". Select "Show All" below to see all of the gem recipients.

Facilities & Operations has selected Richard Riley as our Gem of the Month for December. Richard always has a positive attitude and is always willing to assist others. Richard is a genuine asset to the district.

📣 January is School Board Recognition Month! 🎉
This month, we’re celebrating the dedicated men and women who serve on our local school board — volunteers who give countless hours to guide our schools and support our students. In Texas, school board members are the largest group of locally elected officials and they work year-round to strengthen public education and our community.

Christmas Break
All BCISD campuses and Central Office will close at 2pm on Friday, December 19, 2025. Christmas break is from December 22-January 2. Monday, January 5 is a staff planning day, and we will welcome our students back on Tuesday, January 6.

The Burnet High School Bulldogs will take on Randall High School (Amarillo) in the 2025 UIL Texas Football State Championships - Conference 4A Division 1 Area Round.

It's a Four-Peat for RJ Richey Elementary!
The campus had a 95.06% attendance rate for the second six weeks of school, once again earning them the BCISD Attendance Banner! Way to go, RJ Bulldogs and keep up the good work!
