This month, we’re celebrating the dedicated men and women who serve on our local school board — volunteers who give countless hours to guide our schools and support our students. In Texas, school board members are the largest group of locally elected officials and they work year-round to strengthen public education and our community.

All BCISD campuses and Central Office will close at 2pm on Friday, December 19, 2025. Christmas break is from December 22-January 2. Monday, January 5 is a staff planning day, and we will welcome our students back on Tuesday, January 6.
