Mrs. Skinner teaches her 1st grade homeroom while also planning and delivering instruction for a block of 4th grade math, an impressive commitment reflected in the strong growth of students at both grade levels. She holds all students to high expectations and ensures they rise to meet them.
Beyond the classroom, she is a valued campus leader, serving on the Lighthouse Team and as a team leader. As a mentor teacher, she supports colleagues through coaching and by modeling instruction in classrooms, strengthening practice across our campus. She is honest, dedicated, and always willing to speak up in support of student growth and continuous improvement.
Through her leadership, mentorship, and commitment to excellence, both students and staff benefit from her impact. Mrs. Skinner is a true GEM, and we are grateful for all she does for Bertram Elementary.
