Fitness Does Matter

Coach Carmichael says, “I believe the purpose of physical education is to teach the whole student, not just their body and movement. Physical education provides the opportunity to teach students about movement, strategies, teamwork, problem solving, respect and health related fitness.” Coach says “There is a direct correlation between kids that are physically active for 60+ minutes a day, are better behaved in a classroom, they have a longer attention span, and their mind works and retains information better!” Our students are motivated and encouraged everyday by Coach! She has a heart for students and has proven to be a tremendous asset to BCISD and our students!
