Bonnie Sullivan, current principal at Shady Grove Elementary, will be taking on the role of principal at Bertram Elementary with the start of the 2018-2019 school year. “I am excited and honored to join the Bertram Elementary family and community, and to continue the rich tradition of excellence that has been a cornerstone of Bertram Elementary for years,” said Sullivan.
On April 16, the Board of Trustees approved Shady Grove Elementary Assistant Principal Tasha Briseño as Principal of Shady Grove Elementary. Prior to serving as Shady Grove Elementary Assistant Principal, Briseño served as an assistant principal in Round Rock ISD and has 12 years’ experience teaching at the elementary level.
“Shady Grove Elementary is an outstanding school, and Tasha is the perfect fit as principal to continue all of the great work the campus is undertaking,” said Superintendent Keith McBurnett.
The District will immediately begin the process to identify a new assistant principal at Shady Grove Elementary.
