Burnet CISD is pleased to announce Alyssa Nottingham as the new Director of Food Services

Alyssa distinguished herself through a two-round interview process. She demonstrated strong leadership qualities, insight, and a clear passion for nutrition—especially as it impacts children. Her selection was unanimously recommended by a panel of district operations leaders.

Ms. Nottingham holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from The University of Alabama and a Master’s degree in the same field from Liberty University. She is currently completing a highly selective internship with the VA hospital, the final step in becoming a licensed dietitian. Notably, six weeks of her internship have been focused on Food Service Management. Alyssa has earned high praise from her VA Internship Program Director, who described her as insightful, creative, and highly skilled in building meaningful relationships. She is expected to complete her internship by late June and will begin her new role on July 7.
