Burnet CISD Bus Road-E-O

The Road-E-O not only challenges drivers, but also provides an opportunity for them to showcase their driving experience, and once again, the school bus drivers of BCISD proved that seemingly impossible maneuvers can be completed with excellence.

We had 32 drivers compete, of which 6 were special education teams, made up of a driver and a monitor. The driver with the top score on the general education course was Julio Maldonado. The highest scoring special education team consisted of Tom Milam (driver) and James Farley (monitor). This event couldn't take place without the support of local vendors such as McDonald's and Chicken Express, who supported the Transportation Team with food donations. We are thankful for the Burnet County Fair and Rodeo Association which made this year possible by allowing BCISD to use their facility. We are also grateful for the support of all the community members who volunteered their time to judge the Road-E-O. Last, but certainly not least, Transportation is grateful for the support from the BCISD Administration and Staff.
