Each year on the 3rd Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is observed in Burnet CISD as a "day on, not a day off". On January 20, students across the district will learn about the contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and each campus will participate in service projects. We look forward to sharing the details about the work being done in his honor next week.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the winter weather, all Burnet CISD campuses and offices will operate on a 2 hour delayed start on 1/9/25. School buses will run 2 hours delayed and before school activities are canceled.
