Burnet CISD Celebrates Veterans Day Burnet CISD schools have a long-standing tradition of honoring veterans with assemblies and live programs on Veterans Day. While the format of programs will be different this year due to the pandemic, the sentiment remains the same.
On to State! BHS Cross Country team members competed in the Regional meet today and came out with flying colors. Hudson Bennett is the 4-A Region III Boys Cross Country Champion! Andy Urista finished 13th overall for the boys and Rose Flores finished 25th overall for the girls!
Organization Leads to Success This week BHS counselors are helping 9th and 10th grade classes "Plan for Success". They will go over everything from checking email and grades daily, organizing backpacks, and even learning how to advocate for themselves.
Happy Birthday Mr. Terry! Mr. Terry is a very well respected employee at Burnet Middle School. He ensures that the 6th grade cafeteria is sanitized and spotless after each of the three lunch periods. He also makes every 6th grader that he sees daily feel special and important.
School Board Election Results The Burnet CISD Board of Trustees will continue to see two familiar faces after Tuesday's election.

Running to Regionals! The BHS Boys Cross Country Team finished as Runners-Up at the District 19-4A Meet sending them on to Regionals. And... to top it off, this is the first boys team to advance to the Regional Meet since 2008!
Burnet CISD Closed for Thanksgiving Break Burnet CISD will be closed Monday, November 23 – Friday, November 27, 2020 for Thanksgiving Break. All campuses and offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, November 30.
It's Red Ribbon Week at BCISD Although Green is the color that means Spirit, Pride and Honor in Burnet CISD, on special occasions, we allow another color to take the lead. That is the case this week as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week.
