This past Friday night, the Burnet Bulldog team captains walked to the center of the field for the coin toss carrying with them a check in the amount of $5,986.83 to donate to Sonora flood relief efforts which included a $1,000 donation from the Rotary Club of Burnet.

This past Thursday, Quest High School students enjoyed their annual homecoming picnic, complete with grilled hamburgers and hotdogs.

This week is National Start with Hello Week! Last year, Burnet Middle School students trained students and staff from neighboring school districts in how to bring the prevention program to their schools.

SCREENAGERS is a docudrama that explores the impact of digital devices on youth and families. Burnet CISD is hosting a free screening of the 67 minute docudrama at the Burnet Middle School auditorium on Monday, November 5 at 6:00 p.m.

Superintendent Keith McBurnett announced at Monday's Board meeting that Burnet CISD has an SRO at Burnet High School, Burnet Middle School, and at each of the three elementary campuses.

BHS Students of the Month Paige Adams and Kade Schrader and Quest High School Student of the Month Ckyah Key were recognized at the September 17th meeting.

Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars, Sharol Lovett and Aurora Sanchez, assisted BHS students with filling out their Voter Registration cards. They helped register over 40 new voters who will be ready to vote come election time in November!!

On Thursday, September 6th, Sandy Hook Promise visited Burnet Middle School to award the school the Community Reach and Sustainability award for Start with Hello.
