The Hill Country Community Foundation is proud to provide access to the history of Bertram High School and Burnet High School by digitizing the yearbooks of both high schools. Today, the Foundation is announcing the release of yearbooks from 1947 - 1951 for Bertram High School and the yearbooks from 1942-1951 for Burnet High School.

Burnet CISD joins 1,025 school districts throughout Texas to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month.

The BMS Lady Dawg athletic program has been hard at work collecting, donating, organizing, wrapping, and delivering toys and pantry items to families in need this holiday season.

Recently the Lady Dawgs basketball program focused on giving, sharing joy, laughter and smiles with the Pafford Place Assisted Living residents

On December 13th, His Hands Ministry delivered 72 bags full of new clothing and presents to RJ Richey Elementary School. Each bag had an approximate value of $150.00 to $200.00!

The winners of the BCISD Christmas Card Contest were recognized at the December Board meeting. The entries came from Burnet Middle School this year.

Senior Avery McCrory has been awarded an academic scholarship to Austin College. Avery recently signed her commitment to swim for their Division III swim program in front of her family, teammates, coaches and administrative staff.

The Burnet CISD School Board Election will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020. Two places will be on the ballot this year: Place 3 – currently held by Suzanne Brown, and Place 7 – currently held by Mark Kincaid.
These are three-year terms.

The seventh annual Join the Journey Safe and Drug Free Wellness Fair will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Burnet Middle School Auxiliary Gym.
