Board Approves Legislative Priorities

Each year, on the third Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is observed as a "day on, not a day off." On January 21 students in Burnet CISD have learned about the contributions of Martin Luther King, Jr.. In addition, each campus has been participating in service projects.

The Burnet CISD School Board Trustee Election will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Two places will be on the ballot this year: Place 1 – currently held by Earl Foster, and Place 5 – currently held by Andy Feild.

Based on survey results and input from the Strategic Planning Committee, BCISD will be installing electronic marquees at Bertram Elementary, RJ Richey Elementary, Shady Grove Elementary and one at 3rd Street to support Burnet High School and Burnet Middle School.
