Making History at Burnet Middle School This past Monday history was made when the Lady Dawgs had their first EVER MS soccer game VS The Lampasas Badgers. We had 25 girls come out after Spring Break to start our MS girl program, and they are already showing so much progress these last few weeks. We lost 2-1 to the Badgers; our goal was scored by Cali Eason and assisted by Avery Barth. These girls fought hard the entire game and were down 2-0 and came back to score. We are excited to continue to watch this program grow, and the girls are working hard everyday!

Storybook Theater of Texas at Bertram Elementary On Monday, Bertram Elementary students enjoyed an in-school field trip from the Storybook Theater of Texas. They presented the story of The Two Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. The story was a retelling of traditional Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. Each grade level experienced slightly different versions that all included important lessons on kindness and including others. There were lots of laughs throughout all four performances. The Bertram Bulldog PTO made this opportunity possible through their generous sponsorship of the event.
