Heather is a bus driver for Burnet CISD. She makes sure that her students get to school and home safe every single day, and always does it with a smile on her face.

Sandra Garrett serves as Secretary in the Special Programs department. One of her co-workers commented, "Sandra is dedicated, hardworking, and organized.

Amy Koenig, Burnet High School

Amy Koenig is an Assistant Principal at Burnet High School. She is new to the campus this year and has been a great leader and helping hand to BHS.

Katie LaComb, Burnet Middle School

As our FOCUS teacher, Katie works tirelessly to support our students both academically and with behavior. While juggling self-contained students and being on the floor to support all students, Katie maintains a positive attitude and keeps a smile on her face.

Burnet Consolidated ISD's Gem of Appreciation for Substitute goes to Mrs. Sandy Arrington. Mrs. Arrington is the best. She is always dependable, flexible, and loves our Bertram students.

Angela Zachos, R. J. Richey Elementary

Ms. Zachos transitioned this year from a 5th-grade classroom to our intervention teaching team and has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to our intervention processes and math support for students and teachers.
