Gems of Appreciation

Our Focus Team—Mrs. Solis, Mrs. Sanchez, and Mrs. Parker—moves through our halls like a trio of quiet champions, always lifting the energy just when students need it most. You’ll find them greeting students with genuine warmth, stepping in with calm support, and cheerleading every small victory. Their presence teaches our Bullpups what “personal best” truly looks like: steady encouragement, gentle guidance, and a belief that every child can rise. Our school feels brighter because of the heart they bring to it every day. 💛

R.J. Richey is proud to announce our GEM of Appreciation for November - Ms. Robin Hessin! Robin Hessin is truly a gem here at RJ, as she consistently goes above and beyond for the students she serves in ISS and DAEP, making a real difference in their lives every single day. Robin meets students where they are, showing patience, compassion, and understanding while helping them get back on track and seeing themselves as a leader.

BMS is proud to announce our November GEM of Appreciation- Mrs. Ali Gallenbeck. Mrs. Gallenbeck has high expectations in her 7th grade Math classroom, and is always working hard to help students achieve. She is a believer in kids, and wants everyone in her class to be successful. She also is our cheer coach, and has transformed our cheer program. She is quick to volunteer for all types of activities, including helping to make our 1st Annual Veteran's Day breakfast a huge success. Mrs. Gallenbeck displays SPH and is always searching for opportunities to support BMS. We are lucky to have her as a part of our BMS family.

Mikal-Ann "Mikey" Milam is the kind of educator who lifts everyone around her. As a younger teacher shared, she is a constant source of encouragement, always ready with support on the tough days and practical strategies that make a difference. Her willingness to lend a hand and offer steady guidance has made her a trusted colleague and someone others regularly turn to.
