Board Approves Purchase of Technology Devices

In preparation for the upcoming school year, the Board approved at their July 20 Special Meeting the purchase of 1,560 Chromebooks, 52 carts and 300 wireless hotspots, taking advantage of specialized pricing through TEA’s Operation Connectivity program. This purchase is in addition to the 2,000 Chromebooks already purchased and received as part of the District’s 1:1 initiative.
