How will my general pay increase be calculated?
All staff (except teachers/librarians/nurses/instructional coaches) can calculate their general pay increase by multiplying the approved percentage by their assigned pay grade midpoint rate:
To determine your new pay rate you will need to know your 2024-2025 pay rate found in Skyward and you will need to locate your pay grade and midpoint on the compensation plan.
For example:
Bus Driver
-
-
My 2024-2025 hourly rate was $20.00.
-
This is located in Auxiliary pay grade 6 and the midpoint is $25.02 per hour.
-
Multiply $25.02 X 7%. This is an increase of $1.75/per hour.
-
Add $1.75 to your 2024-2025 hourly rate of $20.00.
-
Your new hourly rate for 2025-2026 will be $21.75/per hour.
-
Calculating a teacher/librarian general pay increase:
All teacher salary schedules are listed under the teacher salary schedule. Librarians, Nurses, Instructional Coaches and Facilitators are located under the "Other Professionals" salary schedule.
When will I receive my first paycheck with the pay increase:
Employee Group Months of Pay Cycle
-
Hourly rate X Number of hours per day = Daily rate
-
Daily rate X Number of service calendar days = Annualized amount
-
Annualized amount / 12 = Monthly amount
