Director of Human Resources

Michele Gilmore began her career in education in 1997 and served twenty years with Killeen ISD as a classroom teacher, Campus Instructional Specialist, Assistant Principal and Human Resources Coordinator. During her time in Human Resources she staffed multiple schools and departments and hired over 2,500 professionals. She hosted job fairs, served on college educational advisory boards and presented workshops to both administrators and students.

Michele earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Tarleton State University.

Michele currently resides in Burnet with her husband, Scott who is a small business owner and commercial real estate investor. They have one daughter, Brooke, who attends Ole Miss, and one son, Travis, who attends Texas A&M.
