Director of Business and Finance

Clay Goehring graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a degree in Accounting and started his career in School Business and Finance shortly after. He began at La Grange ISD in 2002 as the Business Office Coordinator and a quick 5 years later was promoted to the role of Director of Finance. While serving La Grange ISD, Clay was in charge of all Business, Finance, Budgeting, and Food Service operations. In 2003, Clay received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas State University.

 

Clay was named the Director of Business and Finance with Burnet Consolidated ISD in the winter of 2017. As Director of Business and Finance, he is responsible for all Business and Finance activities in the District while also overseeing Transportation and Food Service throughout BCISD.

 

Clay is originally from Round Top, Texas. He and his family are thrilled to have made Burnet their new home. Jamie Goehring, Clay’s wife of 18 years, is a Speech Language Pathologist with BCISD. Clay and Jamie love raising two Burnet Bulldogs, Ainsley and Adler who are both heavily active in extracurricular programs offered by Burnet Consolidated ISD.
