“Contessa developed many of the human resource systems and processes that we will use for years to come,” said Burnet CISD Superintendent Keith McBurnett. “We are a better district today because of Contessa’s contributions and we wish her well in her transition to Leander ISD.”
The District is pleased to announce that Michele Gilmore has been named Director of Human Resources for Burnet CISD. Gilmore has over 10 years experience in human resources for Killeen ISD. Prior to working in human resources, Gilmore was a teacher, campus instructional specialist and assistant principal. “We are excited to have someone with Michele's experience joining our team,” said McBurnett. “Michele is a proven leader who will focus on continuous improvement for the Human Resources Department and the District.” Her first day with the District will be July 31.
